World War II reaches mainland Australia and the northern city of Darwin is bombed.
Move forward to today and it's Thursday when your guide will take you back to that WWII era on a 2-hour walk through the historic quarter of the city. Hear your guide speak the stories of that fateful day as you meander past the historic buildings of the time, and which have been re-built to provide lasting memories of life in the north during the War.
This tour departs on a Thursday only, in memory of that fateful day in 1942. On other days, our Darwin Heritage Walk is available to provide an introduction to Darwin past and present.
