Our 2-hour walk begins with a friendly welcome from your Walk Darwin guide and introductions under the shade of a beautiful Banyan Tree, a place of congregation, rest and the sharing of stories.

We depart on our tour of the city just before sunset, to explore the character of life in Darwin through art as we casually tour the back lanes of the CBD. Our local guides know the safest path to take which is a welcoming safeguard in what could be an unfamiliar city. 

Our tour will take in the lit CBD light-art illuminations as part of world-renowned artist, Bruce Munro’s Tropical Light exhibition; his first city-wide light exhibition in Australia. We’ll learn about the inspiration for his creations and the stories which connect the sculptures to Darwin. We'll partake of an exclusive tropical ice-cream, which is one way to enjoy Darwin’s tropical summer, and an ice-cold drink at one of Darwin's historic hotels.
